Well, I survived another family trip. It was insane, as always. My siblings drove me up the wall. We took some wrong turns a couple of times, and then there was that hilarious incident at that tourist trap.
I'm exhausted, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have stories to tell.

Sometimes, the best/ideal/perfect escape isn't a place/location/spot at all. It's a state of mind/feeling/perception. My happy place/moment/time is anywhere but here, a whimsical/fantastical/imaginary realm where stress/tension/worry melts away/into oblivion/like ice cream on a hot day. I picture a tropical beach filled with music, where nothing but joy exists.
